Building friendship between Singapore and Guinea

Mr. Sun Xiushun, Chairman of Winning International Group, Chief Commander of SMB-Winning Consortium and Chairman of Board of Simandou Winning Consortium, sets up the “Sun Xiushun Scholarship – Guinea Civil Service Officers Training Programme” in his own name. This scholarship is in collaboration with Singapore Corporation Enterprise (SCE) as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pilot program to contribute to the development of Guinea. This plan selects outstanding Guinean civil officers and sponsors them in attending training at prestigious universities such as the Nationa University of Singapore, the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore, and the Singapore institute of Education. This training provides relevant technical knowledge to theseGuinean talents and strengthens their project development and management skills. Since 28th June 2018 when the first batch of Guinean civil officers graduated from this program, the “Sun Xiushun Scholarship” has trained eight batches of Guinean civil officers in Singapore, a total of nearly 100 civil officers.
