SMB-Winning Consortium: Presentation of the feasibility study report for the Dapilon-Santou railway

(SMB-WINNING) – On December 27 and 28, 2018, a meeting of the SMB-Winning Consortium Study Report on the feasibility of the Dapilon-Santou railroad was held in Qingdao under the direction of Mr. Sun Xiushun, President of Winning International Group.

For two days, nearly 80 people – including some 15 leading Chinese personalities in the rail sector – have consulted and evaluated the feasibility report presented by the China Railway First Survey and Design Institute Group (FSDI). For several months, work on the feasibility of the project and the tracing of the railway were at work. This seminar allowed to finalize many design plans and to agree on different technical parameters concerning the material and the logistics for the construction phase.

The project of the Consortium SMB-Winning was unanimously ratified on Monday, December 24th by the deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Guinea, in the presence of the minister of tutelage, the Minister of Mines and Geology Abdoulaye Magassouba, and from the entire Consortium Directorate. The three ratified Conventions concern several development projects, including the construction of a 135km railway line, but also the production and industrial exploitation of bauxite in the new areas of Santou Il and Houda, and finally the construction and operation of an alumina refinery in the Bok Special Economic Zone.

“Through this Dapilon-Santou Railability Feasibility Study Report, the SMB-Winning Consortium confirms its commitment to contribute to Guinea’s development with major infrastructure projects,” said Sun Xiushun, President of Winning International Group. This 135 km railway will also allow the creation of an agricultural development corridor that will be set up along the railway to promote the exploitation of the surrounding fertile plains. ”
